Chinese specialists do not have time to design ships, and therefore shipyards are idle. They want to solve the problem using artificial intelligence. The new designer, which is based on a neural network, has demonstrated that it works more accurately and faster than staff.

Experts have developed a warship systems designer powered by artificial intelligence. He was able to complete the job without errors and completed it 300 times faster than a human. After testing, it turned out that the solution created by the neural network can be implemented in production.

The authors of the project are scientists from the China Ship Design and Research Center. Their designer is creating the ship’s electrical system based on data obtained over 10 years as part of work on other projects.
