BYD’s Yangwang U9 electric supercar has 1,680 Nm of torque and adjustable dance suspension

The Yangwang U9 electric supercar, developed by BYD’s Yangwang brand, was officially unveiled this week. It is equipped with four electric motors and a total peak power of 960 kW.
The model is a battery electric vehicle (BEV) with four electric motors, each with a peak power of 240 kW and a combined peak power of 960 kW.
In total, the engines provide up to 1,306 horsepower and 1,680 Nm of torque, allowing acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.36 seconds. The car’s electrical circuit is based on a high-voltage 800 V platform and is powered by 80 kWh batteries with a combined CLTC range of 450 km.

Like other premium brand BYD Denza, Yangwang U9 supports simultaneous charging by two charging guns and can charge from 30% to 80% in 10 minutes. Yangwang U9 is equipped with DiSus-X suspension.

The DiSus-X system is capable of delivering up to 36kW of power to turn on the spot, and the suspension has a maximum adjustable travel of 75mm.
The Yangwang U9 has DiPilot autonomous driving system, BYD’s DiLink infotainment system inside, as well as a 5G chip manufactured using the 4nm process jointly developed by BYD and Qualcomm.

The Yangwang U9 is 4,966 mm long, 2,029 mm wide and 1,295 mm high with a wheelbase of 2,900 mm.
