Asus ROG Magic Box Pro Max is the router of the future for home networks
18.05.26
Asus is once again pushing the boundaries of networking performance by introducing the ROG Magic Box Pro Max flagship gaming router. The novelty is aimed at users who do not have enough gigabit network capabilities and need extreme bandwidth for games, streaming in high resolution and working with heavy content.
Asus ROG Magic Box Pro Max is a modern router that works on the Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) standard. The main feature of the device is three-band operation, which provides a theoretical data transfer speed of up to 12,000 Mbit/s. The use of channels with a width of 320 MHz and 4K-QAM technology allows you to achieve the maximum data transfer density, which makes it one of the fastest solutions in the Republic of Gamers line.

Technical specifications
The heart of the router was a powerful quad-core processor from Broadcom with a clock frequency of 2.0 GHz. It is paired with a significant 2 GB of RAM of the DDR4 standard, which ensures stable processing of many simultaneous connections without delays.

For fans of wired connection, ROG Magic Box Pro Max offers an unprecedented set of ports. The device has two 10G ports for high-speed connection to a wide area network or local data storage (NAS), as well as five 2.5G ports. The total leading bandwidth of all ports adds up to an impressive 32.5 Gbps.

Design and cooling features
The device received an aggressive design with the ROG logo, which supports Aura RGB lighting. Of the eight built-in antennas, six are equipped with special copper tubes for heat dissipation. Thanks to ten high-performance front modules (FEM), the router provides high-quality coverage on an area of up to 280 square meters, excluding the appearance of blind zones.
Price and start of sales
In the Chinese market, the price of the first buyers of the Asus ROG Magic Box Pro Max is about UAH 19,300 ($470). This positions the device as a premium solution for those who plan to develop their home infrastructure with upgrades for the next 5-10 years.
