Anker Solix Solarbank Max AC: a 7 kWh home energy system expandable up to 42 kWh
14.04.26
Anker has introduced a new home energy solution — Anker Solix Solarbank Max AC. Unlike traditional portable power stations, this device focuses less on a wide range of ports or direct solar panel input and more on high base capacity and simplified grid integration.
Focus on capacity and scalability

The system offers a base capacity of 7 kWh, which can be expanded up to 42 kWh by adding additional 7 kWh battery modules. This makes it a flexible option for both basic backup power and more demanding household energy needs.
It also supports dynamic electricity tariffs, allowing users to optimize energy consumption based on time-of-use pricing.
Bidirectional inverter and flexible energy output

The built-in bidirectional inverter delivers up to 3500 W, enabling both fast charging and efficient energy discharge back into the home system.
When connected via a standard household socket, the unit can feed up to 800 W into the grid. With professional installation (e.g., via a Wieland socket), it can utilize its full power capacity.
Additionally, the device features a built-in outlet with output up to 3680 W. An intelligent meter allows real-time adjustment of energy distribution, adapting to current consumption within seconds.
Availability and pricing
Anker Solix Solarbank Max AC is already available for pre-order via Anker in Germany, the Netherlands, and France, with an introductory price of around €2299.
Pre-orders in other regions will begin on May 26. The company is also offering discounts on additional battery modules for early buyers.
