Acer goes beyond PCs: the company announced AR glasses, a streaming console and an electric vehicle
04.06.26In addition to laptops, gaming systems and professional monitors, at Computex 2026 the Acer company demonstrated a whole set of devices that go far beyond the boundaries of the traditional computer business. The manufacturer made a bet on mobile entertainment, augmented reality, artificial intelligence and even personal electric transport, gradually forming its own ecosystem of gadgets for everyday life.
Portable console for cloud gaming

One of the novelties was Acer Nitro Blaze Link (GN772) – a compact game console, primarily focused on game streaming and cloud game services.
The device is equipped with a 7-inch screen with WUXGA resolution, Wi-Fi 6 wireless module and two 2 W speakers. The weight of the console is only 464 grams, which makes it a convenient solution for mobile gaming and remote access to game libraries from PC or cloud platforms.
Unlike traditional portable gaming systems, Acer emphasizes content streaming, which allows you to reduce the requirements for local hardware and increase the autonomy of the device.
A new generation of Android tablets

Acer paid special attention to updating the Iconia tablet line, introducing several models with OLED displays and current MediaTek mobile processors.
Iconia Duo S14 became the flagship of the series. The tablet received a 14.2-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2.8K and an aspect ratio of 3:2, aimed at working with documents and multitasking. The MediaTek Dimensity 8300 processor is responsible for performance, and the software platform is Android 16.
The Iconia Duo S12 is just below the line. The novelty kept the OLED panel with a resolution of 2.8K and a 3:2 format, but received a more compact 12.2-inch diagonal and a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chip.
For users who do not need flagship characteristics, Acer has prepared the Iconia Duo D12 model. The tablet is equipped with a display with a resolution of 2400×1600 pixels and is built on the basis of the proven MediaTek Helio G99 processor, which is focused on everyday tasks and multimedia.
AR-glasses and artificial intelligence are always at hand

The company is also actively developing the field of wearable electronics.
The new Acer AR Vision GR0 glasses are designed to work with augmented reality and allow you to display digital content directly in the user’s field of vision when connected to compatible devices. Acer positions them as solutions for entertainment, travel and mobile work.
The Acer GI0 model looks more interesting. These glasses received support for voice control based on Google Gemini artificial intelligence. The user can interact with the device hands-free, receive hints, search for information and perform various tasks through voice commands.
In this way, Acer joins a growing number of manufacturers who consider smart glasses as one of the promising alternatives to smartphones.
Acer enters the electric transport market

An unexpected part of the presentation was a new line of personal electric vehicles.
Acer Nitro eCity Plus electric bicycle was created as a universal solution for daily trips around the city. The model received several driving modes and a removable battery that can be charged separately from the bike.
In turn, the Acer ES Series 3 Select electric scooter is aimed at users who value compactness and mobility. The scooter received a complex design, several driving modes and a modernized braking system designed for regular urban use.

Acer is turning into an ecosystem brand
If a few years ago, Acer was mainly associated with laptops and monitors, today the company clearly wants to expand its presence in the consumer electronics market. Tablets, augmented reality devices, game consoles, smart accessories and even electric vehicles show that the manufacturer is gradually building its own ecosystem that combines work, entertainment and a mobile lifestyle.
Judging by the number of presented novelties, Computex 2026 became for Acer not just a platform for demonstrating new computers, but an opportunity to show its vision of the future of a digital device far beyond the classic PC market.
