Xiaomi Redmi 17 4G Surfaces at Retailers Ahead of Official Launch

The well-known outlet GSMArena reported today that the Xiaomi Redmi 17 4G, which has not yet been officially unveiled in China, has unexpectedly surfaced for sale in Poland. However, these models have appeared not only in Poland but also at all major retailers in Ukraine. This is not a full-scale release, but a “silent” launch that has revealed almost all the details about the upcoming newcomer.
Specs and Key Features
The main surprise for the European version of the device is the 7500 mAh battery capacity. There were previous concerns that the company might shrink the battery for the international market, but those rumors did not hold true. The device will be available in three colors: black, green, and blue.
Two memory configurations will hit the market: 4/128 GB and 4/256 GB. Analysts explain the return to 4 GB of RAM in budget smartphones as a consequence of rising memory chip costs.
Pricing for Redmi 17 in Poland and Ukraine
Contrary to early forecasts, the price of the smartphone turned out to be more attractive. The following prices have been set in the Polish retail market (converted from Polish Zloty to Hryvnia and US Dollars):
