Xiaomi Mijia Monitor Light Bar 2: updated lamp for comfortable work at the computer
15.07.26
Xiaomi introduced a new version of the popular accessory – Mijia Monitor Light Bar 2. The lamp is designed to make working at the computer more comfortable, eliminating the problem of glare on the screen and reducing eye fatigue during long-term use.
Design features and lighting quality

The novelty develops the ideas of the first model, offering a more perfect optical system. The key feature of the device is an asymmetric lens with a protective angle of 20.8 degrees. This design directs the flow of light exclusively to the working surface of the table, excluding the impact of rays on the monitor matrix, which saves the user from parasitic glare.

The device is equipped with 108 full-spectrum LEDs, which provide a color index of Ra 96, which corresponds to professional equipment. The brightness of the light when illuminating the working area varies from 1100 to 1800 lux depending on the mounting height.
Technical features and design
The panel is 500 mm long and easily adapts to different types of displays. The new mount allows you to install the lamp on monitors with a body thickness from 5 to 65 mm, and the design is suitable for both flat and curved panels.

To control the lighting, a wireless puck controller is provided, which allows you to smoothly adjust the color temperature and brightness level. In addition, integration with the HyperOS Connect ecosystem is supported, which opens access to automated scenarios: for example, synchronizing the switching on of the lamp with the operation of the PC or changing the temperature of the light during the day.

Release date and price

The start of sales of Mijia Monitor Light Bar 2 in China is scheduled for July 15 in the format of a crowdfunding campaign. The initial cost of the device is 259 yuan, which is equivalent to approximately 1750 hryvnias. ($39). On the global market, the price is expected to be around UAH 2,200 ($50), which is significantly more profitable than solutions from many other manufacturers.
Among other visual advantages, it is worth noting the minimalist design and thoughtful ergonomics, which make this lamp a worthy successor to the first version of the hit from Xiaomi.
