Samsung’s upcoming line of wearables will become more expensive. According to fresh leaks published by the Winfuture portal, the company plans to raise the recommended retail price for all modifications of the Galaxy Watch 9 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 model.

While the design of the base Galaxy Watch 9 remains largely unchanged, the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 receives significant cosmetic upgrades, including a new branded bezel that is supposedly rotatable. Technically, both models are preparing a significant breakthrough: the devices will receive increased capacity batteries and an updated Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear Elite platform, which will provide increased autonomy and performance.
Price and comparison of versions
The price increase will affect every modification in the Galaxy Watch 9 line, amounting to an average of 30 euros. The basic 40mm model without a cellular module will cost 409 euros (17,830 UAH / $444), and the presence of an LTE modem will add another 50 euros to the price. In turn, the top version of the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 will be released at a price of 749 euros (32,660 UAH / $813), which is 50 euros more expensive than the first generation.
