Samsung introduced the new Galaxy Book 6 Edge laptop, adding to the Galaxy Book 6 line a device based on the Qualcomm platform.

Display and multimedia capabilities

The laptop is equipped with a 16-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X touch screen with a 3K resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The panel supports adaptive frequency change and received an anti-glare coating, and protection is provided by Corning Gorilla Glass with DX coating.

The audio system includes four speakers with Dolby Atmos support, which is designed for watching videos and working with multimedia tasks without external acoustics.

Snapdragon platform and ecosystem integration

The Galaxy Book 6 Edge is powered by the Snapdragon X2 Elite, which combines computing power and AI acceleration in a single architecture. The device is also integrated into the Galaxy ecosystem, allowing you to transfer files and images from smartphones without a cable.

Windows 11 Copilot+ PC support involves working with the operating system’s built-in AI tools.

Ports, communication and autonomous operation

The model received a set of modern interfaces, including HDMI 2.1, a microSD slot, USB 3.2, two USB4 ports and a combined audio jack. Wireless capabilities are represented by Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 modules.

The manufacturer claims up to 22 hours of video playback from one charge. Fast charging with a power of 65 W allows you to restore about 40% of the battery in about half an hour.

Design and configuration

The body of the device is made in a thin format: the thickness is less than 13 mm and the weight is 1.55 kg. Galaxy Book 6 Edge will be released in a single configuration with 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB SSD storage. The cost of the laptop is about 2100 dollars.
