The RedMagic company presented a new Gaming Tablet 5 Pro. The device is aimed at demanding gamers and offers advanced technical solutions, including a productive hardware platform and support for PC game emulation. On the global market, the model will be presented as RedMagic Astra 2.
The RedMagic Gaming Tablet 5 Pro is a compact 9.06-inch tablet designed with performance in mind. The key feature was the integration of a special layer into the proprietary Game Space shell, which allows you to run x86 programs and games. Thanks to this solution, users can enjoy gaming with a resolution of up to 2K and a frequency of up to 144 Hz.
Characteristics of the display and “iron”
The device is equipped with a high-quality OLED screen with a high refresh rate of 185 Hz, which is 20 Hz higher than the previous generation. The resolution of the display is 1504 x 2400 pixels. The powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is used as a processor, complemented by a specialized RedMagic RedCore R4 chip. In the top configuration, the tablet offers 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of built-in memory of the UFS 4.1 Pro standard.
Cooling and control system
To maintain stable operation under load, an active liquid cooling system is implemented, the elements of which are placed on the rear panel of the case. For aesthetics and atmosphere, the gaming device is equipped with full RGB lighting. Control accuracy is provided by the Synaptics S3930 touch controller, which has a sampling frequency of 300 Hz.
Battery and connection ports
The tablet is equipped with an 8300 mAh battery with support for fast charging of 80 W. A feature of the design was the presence of two USB-C ports, which allows you to simultaneously charge the device and connect external peripheral accessories. It is important to note that the maximum charging speed and USB 3.2 specification are only available through the main bottom port.

The model is available in Silver Wing and Dark Night colors. The cost of the device for the Chinese market is listed below:
