Honor Pad 20 Pro Debuts with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and 165Hz Display
18.08.26
Honor has introduced the Pad 20 Pro tablet, a more powerful alternative to the standard Honor Pad 20. The device is aimed at users who need high performance, positioning itself as a rival in the laptop segment.
What Is the Honor Pad 20 Pro
The key change compared to the base Honor Pad 20 is the switch from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor to the more modern Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. This delivers a performance boost more than double that of its predecessor.
The tablet features an aluminum body with a thickness of just 6.29 mm and weighs 537 grams. The model is focused on productive multitasking.

Specs and Display
The tablet’s screen is a 12.1-inch IPS panel with impressive specs:
- Resolution: 3000 x 1872 pixels.
- Refresh rate: 165 Hz.
- Peak brightness: 700 nits.
It is powered by a 10,100 mAh battery, which the manufacturer claims provides up to 12 hours of video playback or 7 hours of gaming.
Performance and Hardware
The Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor includes an ARM Cortex-X4 core (up to 3.2 GHz), three Cortex-A720 performance cores, and four energy-efficient Cortex-A720 cores. Memory configuration is 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of built-in flash storage.

Cameras and Connectivity
The tablet is equipped with two cameras:
- Main camera: 13 MP.
- Selfie camera: 8 MP.
Wireless connectivity includes current Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0 standards.
Release Date and Pricing
Currently, the tablet has only been spotted in product listings on the official Honor website in Malaysia. Information regarding a global release date and the official price of the device has not yet been confirmed by the manufacturer.
Usage Features and Purchasing
Honor positions the device as a laptop replacement thanks to an advanced multitasking system. It is important to note that despite the availability of an optional keyboard case, it does not include a built-in touchpad. If you are looking for a tablet with a top-tier screen and a powerful platform for work tasks or multimedia, the Honor Pad 20 Pro looks like an interesting solution; however, it is worth waiting for the announcement of regional pricing and local availability.
