OnePlus Nord CE 6 bets on autonomy: up to 2.5 days of operation without recharging

The OnePlus company introduced the OnePlus Nord CE 6 smartphone, aimed at users who value long battery life, high screen refresh rate and stable performance in mobile games. The novelty belongs to the middle segment, but in terms of a number of characteristics it tries to get closer to more expensive gaming devices.

Emphasis on the battery and long operation without an outlet

The main feature of the model was the 8000 mAh battery. For the smartphone market, this is one of the largest indicators among mid-range devices. The manufacturer claims that the smartphone is capable of working up to two and a half days without connecting to charging in a mixed usage scenario.

The device also supports fast charging with a power of 80 W. According to the company, this allows you to fill the charge much faster, despite the increased battery capacity. In addition, a 27 W reversible charge is implemented, thanks to which the smartphone can be used as an external battery for other gadgets.

144 Hz screen with increased sensitivity

The smartphone received an AMOLED display with a diagonal of 6.78 inches with a resolution of 1.5K. The refresh rate is 144 Hz, which is especially important for dynamic games and smooth animation of the interface. The maximum brightness of the panel reaches 3600 nits, so the screen should remain readable even in bright sunlight.

In addition, touch sampling rate 3200 Hz support is claimed. This indicator is responsible for the speed of the touch response of the touch layer and directly affects control in games, especially in mobile shooters and MOBA projects.

Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 and enhanced cooling system

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor is responsible for performance. The chip does not belong to the flagship line, but is focused on stable work in games, multitasking and energy efficiency.

To reduce the risk of overheating during long gaming sessions, the manufacturer installed an evaporation chamber with an area of more than 33,000 mm². Such cooling systems are commonly used in gaming smartphones and help maintain high performance for longer without throttling.

Cameras, AI features and Android 16

The smartphone’s main camera is built on a 50-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization. The front camera received a 32 MP module and supports video recording in 4K format.

The device runs on OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16. The system integrates AI tools for processing photos and videos, including the functions of removing objects from images, sharpening and automatic correction of pictures.

Protection of the case and start of sale

The manufacturer also emphasized the security of the device. The smartphone has been certified IP66, IP68 and IP69, and also complies with the MIL-STD-810H military standard. This means increased resistance to moisture, dust and mechanical influences.

OnePlus Nord CE 6 is available in three colors: Fresh Blue, Lunar Pearl and Pitch Black. Sales started in India on May 8. The basic version with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage is estimated at about $320. The company has not yet announced the timing of the global release.
