Gemini to Troubleshoot Pixel 11 Issues

Google has started testing a new “Device help” tool, integrated into Gemini and designed for the Pixel 11 series. This feature allows users to interact with AI to quickly resolve technical issues on their smartphones.

How Device help Works on Pixel 11

The tool is located within the Gemini app: to access it, open the “plus” menu—the option is at the very bottom of the list, right above the Personal Intelligence section. Currently, the functionality is marked with a Labs icon, indicating its experimental development status.

What the Integrated Diagnostic Tool Can Do

Gemini is capable of not only answering questions about device operation but also taking over smartphone parameter configuration. The AI helps resolve tasks in the following areas:

• Troubleshooting: connectivity issues, rapid battery drain, audio quality, and app crashes.
• Storage optimization: recommendations for clearing storage and analyzing space usage.
• Settings management: app permission audits, notification management, and launch timer control.
• Guided learning: step-by-step instructions for using gestures, cameras, and privacy settings.

Availability

Currently, the rollout is limited to testing rather than a wide release. However, the feature can already be spotted in the latest beta version of the Google app, number 17.52. As is often the case with Google services, an official release for the general public may take some time.

Since the tool actively helps automate routine smartphone setup and maintenance tasks, it could become a key highlight of the Pixel 11 series. At this stage, the feature is useful for diving deep into privacy settings and managing apps via a conversational interface, bypassing classic OS menus.
