Huawei Watch Fit 5: refreshed lineup with titanium casing, sapphire glass, and a display reaching 3000 nits
19.04.26
Huawei is repositioning its Watch Fit lineup, moving it beyond the entry-level fitness tracker segment into a more premium category. The new Watch Fit 5 series includes two versions that differ in materials and specifications, but both emphasize a brighter display and expanded health monitoring features.
Higher-end model focused on materials and display

The Huawei Watch Fit 5 Pro features a titanium alloy case and sapphire glass protection, setting it apart from previous generations in the series. This combination is typically found in higher-tier smartwatches rather than compact fitness devices.
It is equipped with a 1.92-inch LTPO display with a peak brightness of up to 3000 nits, ensuring readability even under direct sunlight without noticeable loss of contrast.
Despite the use of metal and premium materials, the device remains lightweight at around 32 grams. Slim bezels allow the display to occupy most of the front panel, giving it a more modern appearance.
More affordable version with lighter construction

The standard Watch Fit 5 model comes with a 1.82-inch display reaching up to 2500 nits of brightness. It uses recycled aluminum in the casing and includes a nylon strap, making it more practical for everyday wear and sports use.
Its weight is reduced to approximately 27 grams, making it barely noticeable on the wrist during prolonged use.
Monitoring system and features
Both models run on the updated Huawei TruSense platform, which handles heart rate tracking, blood oxygen monitoring, and stress measurement.
Connectivity is handled via Bluetooth 6.0, with GPS and NFC support for navigation and contactless payments.
Battery life and usage scenarios
The device is powered by a 471 mAh battery. Huawei claims up to 10 days of battery life in power-saving mode and around 7 days under typical usage.
With Always-On Display enabled, battery life drops to roughly 4 days due to increased power consumption of the high-brightness screen.
Release and pricing
The series launch is scheduled for April 20. The base model is expected to start at around €200 (≈ 8,700 UAH), while the Pro version with a titanium case is priced from €300 (≈ 13,100 UAH).
Compared to previous generations such as the Huawei Watch Fit 3, the new lineup clearly shifts toward more premium materials and expanded capabilities, effectively repositioning the series in the wearable market.
