Huawei has introduced its new flagship tablet, the MatePad Pro (2026), blending a premium design with high computing performance.
Positioning
The new device is targeted at demanding users, artists, and mobile professionals. The tablet boasts top-tier hardware and advanced software, expanding multitasking capabilities via HarmonyOS 6.1 and support for desktop-grade applications. It is housed in an all-metal body measuring just 4.7mm in thickness and weighing 439g.
Technical Specifications
At the heart of the tablet is the new Kirin T93 processor, providing a 25% performance boost over its predecessor. The more accessible Enjoy Edition variant utilizes the Kirin T93A chip. Configuration includes 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. Thermal management is handled by a 7.2W Stereo cooling system.
The display is a 12-inch flexible OLED panel with a resolution of 3036 x 1952 pixels. Key features include a 3:2 aspect ratio, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of up to 1600 nits. A Soft Light Edition is also available, featuring nano-etching to effectively minimize glare.
The tablet runs HarmonyOS 6.1 with Dual Desktop functionality, allowing users to comfortably work with over 200 PC applications. Switching between modes is achieved with a simple four-finger swipe. The GoPaint app has also been improved with new brush types and integration with the external TourBox controller for easier sketching and music production.
Battery and Multimedia
The device features a four-speaker Huawei Sound system with spatial audio. A 10,400 mAh battery ensures a full day of usage. It supports 66W charging (0-100% in 53 minutes) and 40W reverse charging. Onboard, there is a 50MP main camera and a 12MP front-facing sensor with face recognition. Wireless interfaces include Wi-Fi 7+ and Bluetooth 6.0.

The tablet is available in Cherry Pink Gold, Condensed Light Blue, Floating White, Deep Space Gray, and Bright Moon Silver colors.
