Huawei FreeClip 2S: the evolution of open headphones with an innovative case
15.07.26
Huawei expands its line of wearable devices by introducing the global version of the wireless open-type headphones – FreeClip 2S. The model is based on the Chinese release FreeClip 2, offering users a number of design improvements, including an updated charging case.
Design
FreeClip 2S is a stylish open type headphone designed for users who value a combination of aesthetics and comfort. The main innovation lies in the approach to the ergonomics of the case: the device has not just become a place for charging, but also turned into a functional accessory for storing small things.

The novelty is available in two colors: Metallic Blue and Silver. Both the headphones and the case received a premium metal finish, which emphasizes their design positioning.
Design solutions and convenience of the case
Huawei engineers redesigned the charging case, giving it an almost spherical shape. The volume of the case was increased by 20%, which allows you to use the internal space for storing jewelry or small accessories. The design of the headphones itself has undergone significant improvements: the C-bridge is now 25% softer than the original, and its surface is completely smooth and devoid of technical grooves.
Technical characteristics and hardware

Despite the cosmetic changes, the hardware component of the model remains at the level of the older generation FreeClip 2. The main technical parameters of the headphones:
- Sound system: 10.8 mm drivers with double diaphragm.
- Intelligent functions: adaptive volume, adaptive voice enhancement and noise cancellation system based on three microphones for conversations.
- Automation: absence of left and right headphones (automatic recognition), control of gestures, touches and head tilts.
- Protection: IP57 standard against moisture and dust.
- Connection: Bluetooth 6.0 and Bluetooth Multipoint technology.
- Audio codecs: SBC, AAC, L2HC. LDAC, LHDC and Apt-X are not supported.
- Autonomy: up to 9 hours on a single charge, up to 38 hours with recharging from the case.
Release date and price

The headphones are already available for purchase on the European market. The recommended retail price is set at €229 (about UAH 10,300). The promotional period is valid until August 21, 2026: the purchase of the device is available for €199 (about UAH 9,000) or you can buy a set with jewelry from Les Néréides for the standard price of €229.
