Honor has come up with a mouse with built-in headphones: Choice MouseBuds Pro combines devices into one gadget.

Honor has unveiled an unusual device — Honor Choice MouseBuds Pro — where a computer mouse also functions as a charging case for true wireless earbuds. The result is a hybrid solution that merges two different devices into a single system for the desktop.

A mouse that charges earbuds

The core idea behind the new product is eliminating the need for a separate TWS charging case. Instead, the mouse body includes dedicated compartments where the earbuds are stored and charged while the user works.

Power comes from a built-in 1000 mAh battery. It not only powers the mouse itself but also supplies energy to the earbuds, effectively turning the device into a dual-purpose hub for everyday accessories.

Compact design with trade-offs in feel

The device measures 112 × 60 × 34 mm and weighs 78 g without the earbuds and 88 g with them.

Compared to typical office input devices, it remains relatively lightweight. However, the added internal components and altered structure may affect balance and grip. This is especially noticeable for users accustomed to ultra-light or gaming-focused mice.

Basic sensor and office-oriented usage

The device is equipped with an optical sensor from PixArt Imaging with a 1200 DPI resolution. This level is primarily designed for basic tasks such as document work, web browsing, and standard office use.

It may be insufficient for demanding use cases such as gaming or professional graphics work, but it remains stable and predictable for everyday productivity.

Semi-open earbuds with ANC

The included TWS earbuds feature a semi-open design, which does not fully isolate the user from ambient sounds. This makes them suitable for office or study environments where partial awareness of surroundings is important.

Despite this design, adaptive active noise cancellation (ANC) is supported. The audio system uses dual dynamic drivers, delivering solid sound quality for its class.

Price and concept value

Honor Choice MouseBuds Pro starts at approximately €100 (around 4500 UAH).

On one hand, users get two devices in one, reducing clutter on the desk. On the other hand, the integration creates dependency between components: if the mouse fails, the charging case is also lost, and taking the earbuds on the go becomes less convenient.

The Honor Choice lineup once again demonstrates an experimental approach, focusing on unconventional solutions for users aiming to simplify and declutter their workspace.
