HMD has announced an affordable entry-level smartphone, the HMD Arc 2. The new product is an updated version of the original HMD Arc model, released in December 2024, and offers a basic set of features for everyday use.
Technical characteristics and capabilities
The smartphone has a 6.52-inch IPS matrix with HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. The hardware basis of the device was the Unisoc T603 chipset – the same solution was used in the Redmi A3x (a budget smartphone, not currently available). For shooting, there is a 13 MP main camera and a 5 MP selfie camera.
Autonomous operation is provided by a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 10 W charging via USB-C. The smartphone runs Android 14 Go Edition, which is the best choice for such hardware.
One of the key features of the model is the preservation of the classic 3.5 mm headphone jack. The device also supports memory expansion via a microSD slot.
Price and availability
HMD Arc 2 will go on sale in Thailand on July 20, 2026 in two colors: Dark Blue and Golden Beige.
