Google Pixel 11 Pro with the new Pixel Glow light system

The presentation of Made by Google 2026 is less than two weeks away and the company continues to gradually reveal the features of new smartphones. This time, Google published a teaser of the Pixel 11 Pro, showing for the first time in detail the work of the proprietary Pixel Glow light system. The ad campaign continues last year’s “Ask more from your smartphone” course and is accompanied by the track “I Can” by Nas.

Pixel Glow Features and Functions

The back of the Pixel 11 Pro smartphone is clearly visible in the new video. The central element became a round light module, the colors of which smoothly rotate, imitating the movement of a wheel. Unlike the previous teaser, where the Glow was only shown at an angle, here the design and dynamics of the illumination are presented in detail.

Although Google has not yet revealed the technical settings, preliminary information points to the following features:

  • Notification of important events: the indication will work even when the smartphone is lying face down.
  • Integration with Gemini: the light ring can flash when interacting with the AI assistant.
  • Activity indication: flexible use of light and color to notify the user.

Cost

Google’s vice president for devices and services has officially confirmed that the company is forced to raise prices for the entire Pixel 11 line. The exact figures in various currencies for the international market will be announced at the event on August 12, but it is already clear that users should prepare for a change in the price list to the side.

Pixel Glow could become one of the main visual features of the Pixel 11 lineup, making notifications and AI work more visible.
