GIGABYTE is preparing a revolution in the monitor market with the AORUS ELITE line

New gaming monitors AORUS ELITE from GI OLED panels

At the famous technology exhibition Computex 2026, the GIGABYTE company under its prestigious sub-brand for e-sports presented AORUS ELITE – a radically new flagship series of gaming monitors. The line combines state-of-the-art achievements in the development of new-generation OLED panels and advanced multi-mode Mini LED screens, setting a qualitatively new performance bar.

New gaming solutions are created to satisfy the growing appetite of gamers and content creators for picture quality and frame dynamics. These monitors use advanced developments in the field of multi-mode screen, ultra-high hertz and ultimate color. The company’s engineers managed to minimize the classic disadvantages of such matrices by integrating a special system of intelligent screen wear prevention and the use of the most technological audio and video transmission interfaces.

Possibilities of Mini LED and OLED displays

The premium 27-inch AORUS ELITE FM275K16P display attracted the most attention during the announcement. The model is the first on the consumer electronics market to harmoniously combine a special reflective glossy coating (Glossy), high technology Mini LED backlight, 5K resolution detail and 218 pixels per inch (PPI) density. The flagship carries 2,304 controllable deep local dimming zones on board and is backed by certified DisplayHDR 1000 compliance technology.

In addition, this Mini LED solution supports instant reconfiguration of screen resolution parameters and its scanning speed:

  • Display in 5K format at 165 Hz;
  • Display in 4K format with an operating frequency of 220 Hz;
  • High-speed QHD (2K) detailing mode, providing up to 330 Hz smoothness.

Along with it, 4 fundamentally new devices based on matrices on organic LEDs were launched at the exhibition: OLED displays marked FO32U24GP, FO32U24G, FO27Q28G, as well as FO27Q54G. All of them are equipped with WOLED screens of the fourth generation using Tandem OLED technology with a RealBlack layer.

Difference between OLED and Mini LED versions

In addition to the obvious technological difference between the design of the LED Mini LED backlight with its multi-zone structure (represented by the FM275K16P model) and the classic emitting elements of OLED panels, the presented model range is divided into purely universal combo models and exclusively focused on record response solutions. An example of record-breaking dynamics was the 32-inch OLED version FO32U24GP: this 4K display with a regular scan of 240 Hz has a patented Dual Mode function. After activating it, you can immediately reduce the image resolution to Full HD, instantly turning the device into a super-fast e-sports projectile with outstanding indicators of 480 Hz and an instant response of 0.03 ms.

Technical nuances and key features of new products

A serious vulnerability of premium panels is traditionally possible degradation damage due to static images. In order to ensure the service life of the products, GIGABYTE has integrated a special AI OLED CARE PRO protective subsystem in all versions. Automated cycles optimized by AI algorithms prevent point damage of diodes.

In the field of interfaces, these devices use the best modern ports:

  • Equipped with the latest DisplayPort version 2.1 with a peak traffic throughput of up to 80 Gbps;
  • A new generation of HDMI 2.1 interface with a mandatory eARC transmission module.

Release date and price

The developers have not yet disclosed the exact date of the appearance of the entire line of gamer novelties at global retailers. It is expected that information with the terms of the official launch will be announced a little later in a special announcement.

The cost of the glossy Mini LED hybrid and the entire accompanying OLED line is currently kept a strict secret by the GIGABYTE brand. At Computex 2026, the exact financial parameters of the novelties were also not named. They appear before the immediate release of the lot to the world market.
