Xiaomi Mijia 2 Pro: dual-tap water purifier with record eight-year filter lifespan
10.04.26
Xiaomi continues expanding its smart home lineup with the Mijia Water Purifier 2 Pro, featuring two independent taps and designed for long-term use without replacing key filters. The device aims to deliver convenience, precise water quality control, and fast flow rates.
Dual output for different needs
The standout feature of this model is its two separate channels. The upper tap provides premium-quality water safe even for children, while the lower tap is intended for household tasks such as washing vegetables or dishes. The channels are physically isolated, preventing any mixing and ensuring purity at every level. With a flow rate of 1600G, a glass of water fills almost instantly.
Maximum filtration and durability

The system filters particles down to 0.0001 microns, including heavy metals and persistent chemicals like PFAS and PFOA. A separate pre-filter handles coarse impurities such as sand and rust. The core element — a reverse osmosis membrane — can last up to eight years without replacement, processing up to 29 tons of water, significantly reducing maintenance costs and extending the device’s lifespan.
Smart control via app
Mijia 2 Pro integrates into Xiaomi’s smart home ecosystem. Through the mobile app, users can monitor water quality, track filter life, and adjust output volumes. This allows precise maintenance planning and complete control over the purification process.
Price and outlook
In China, the Mijia Water Purifier 2 Pro Dual Water Output 1600G is priced at 2,499 yuan (approximately $345). Combining durability, speed, and intelligent control, the device is an attractive option for users who prioritize health and convenience.
