XGIMI Elfin Flip Laser and Elfin Flip 4K laser projectors: compactness and quality
17.07.26
XGIMI continues to strengthen its position in the segment of compact home projectors, introducing two iconic models – the Elfin Flip Laser and the flagship Elfin Flip 4K. Both devices are designed to be a full-fledged alternative to televisions, offering modern display technologies in a portable housing.
Positioning

The new line of Elfin Flip projectors is aimed at users who value ease of setup and high image quality. The key technological advantage of the novelties was the introduction of the RGB Triple Laser system, which provides more saturated colors, high contrast and stable brightness compared to traditional LED light sources. The devices work under the control of Google TV, which opens direct access to all popular streaming services.
Characteristics and capabilities of models

The basic Elfin Flip Laser model is designed to provide maximum comfort when viewing content with Full HD (1080p) resolution. The device is equipped with a bright light source (1600 ISO lumens), a dynamic contrast ratio of 10,000:1 and built-in 7 W Harman Kardon speakers.
Elfin Flip 4K flagship takes visual experience to a new level. While maintaining the brightness of 1600 ISO lumens, the model received a full 4K resolution and an increased contrast ratio of 20,000:1. Gaming capabilities deserve special attention: the device supports VRR and ALLM technologies, has a minimum input delay of only 1 ms (at 1080p resolution and 120 Hz) and an optical zoom of 0.98-1.3:1.

Operational features and automatic adjustment

The main “nuance” that makes these projectors convenient to use is the complex of ISA technologies. It is responsible for automatic autofocus, correction of keystone distortions, alignment of the projection with respect to the edges of the screen and intelligent avoidance of obstacles. The user just needs to install the projector – the system itself will bring the image to an ideal state.
The choice depends on your goals. Elfin Flip Laser is a reliable and compact solution for high-quality viewing of movies and series. If you are considering a device for gaming, plan to use it as a full replacement for a 4K TV, or want to get maximum optics (zoom and 1ms response), then the flagship Elfin Flip 4K will be a more justified purchase.
