Vuzix M100 smart glasses will be available soon
21.11.14Vuzix, a company known for its various video glasses and virtual reality devices, is preparing to launch M100 smart glasses. Officially, the gadget can only be purchased on the Amazon website. The device will come with a spectacle frame that allows you to insert corrective lenses.
The gadget looks like an enlarged Bluetooth headset with a monocular display. The wearable computer runs Android OS. There is a microphone and a 5-megapixel camera with the ability to record Full HD video.
The internal memory is 4 GB and can be expanded up to 32 GB. Synchronization with smartphones is carried out via Bluetooth 4.0. In addition, it is possible to connect to Wi-Fi networks, there are GPS systems and head position tracking. The weight of the gadget is just under 400 g.
Those who wish to pre-order smart glasses will receive a leather case and an additional battery as a gift. The manufacturer promises support for thousands of Android applications, some of which will already be pre-installed. Vuzix M100 smart glasses cost $ 999.
