Two PCs in one case: Thermaltake Capo X is now on available

Overview of the Thermaltake Capo X case:

Thermaltake Capo X is a unique solution for users who need to place two independent computer systems in one case. The novelty, presented after the Computex announcement, is now available for purchase.

Positioning

This giant case is designed for those who want to save space or optimize the operation of several systems without resorting to the purchase of a server rack. The dimensions of the device are truly impressive: the height is 691 mm, which makes it extremely unusual for a standard home table. The design involves the vertical arrangement of two independent compartments one above the other.

Technical characteristics and capabilities

Despite the fact that the internal space is limited by the support of Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX format motherboards, the options for components remained uncompromising:

  • Maximum video card length: up to 420 mm (in each section).
  • Maximum height of processor cooler: up to 180 mm.
  • Cooling: support for up to 13,120 mm fans or radiators up to 420 mm.
  • Materials: 1 mm thick steel and 4 mm thick curved tempered glass.
  • Power supply units: independent installation of two PSUs for each system.

Usage scenarios

The manufacturer identifies three key scenarios for using this device:

  1. Streaming: using a second PC to encode video and manage chat to free up resources on the main computer for gaming.
  2. Local AI: work of an AI agent on a separate system while the main PC is busy with work tasks.
  3. Saving space: if you need to organize two full-fledged workplaces on one table, this case will perfectly solve the issue of ergonomics.

Operation features

Each of the two installed systems has its own input-output panel with USB Type-C ports, USB 3.0 and standard connectors for audio. This allows you to control both computers independently, provided that the cable infrastructure is organized.

Price and availability

At the moment, the cost of Thermaltake Capo X is UAH 8,500 ($190).  This is a highly specialized product for those looking for a multifunctional duplex. It will be indispensable for professional streamers, enthusiasts of working with neural networks and owners of paired workplaces who seek compact and aesthetic placement of equipment in the interior.
