Ubisoft officially announced the amazing success of the new product: in the first 24 hours after its release, gamers bought 2 million copies of the game, including pre-orders. It is significant that the company earned more from pre-orders alone than during the entire existence of the Skull and Bones game.

Comparisons and аchievements

The remake turned out to be more successful than the last full release of the franchise — Assassin’s Creed Shadows. What’s more, the game set a new record for peak online steam on Steam for the series, with almost 100,000 people playing Black Flag Resynced at the same time.

Game features and technical nuances

The developers offered players updated graphics, a refined combat system and additional content. It wasn’t without its issues, however, with PC users reporting occasional framerate freezes and freezes at the 30 FPS mark in ray-traced scenes. The Ubisoft team confirmed that they are aware of these bugs and have promised to release the appropriate fixes in the near future. There is also some criticism among players due to the introduction of microtransactions.

What platforms is the game available on

Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced is available on current platforms:

  • PC (via Steam, Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Connect);
  • PlayStation 5;
  • Xbox Series.

Despite the technical roughness at the start, the game remains one of the strongest releases of the year.
