Steam Train Fest 2026: Dozens of railroad games are discounted

Valve launched another themed festival on Steam. This time the sale is dedicated to the railway theme: users are offered discounts on games related to trains, railway construction, development of transport infrastructure and management of logistics networks.
In addition to special offers, the store has prepared a selection of free demo versions, as well as a separate section with future releases dedicated to the railway theme.
Discounts will last until the end of July
Steam Train Fest 2026 will run until July 27. Although the number of participating projects cannot be called a record, many of them received quite noticeable discounts – in some cases they reach 63%.
The promotion covers not only classic railway simulators, but also economic strategies, transport managers, infrastructure construction games and even some unusual projects where trains play an important role in the gameplay.
Which games should you pay attention to
Among the most interesting offers of the festival, several popular projects of various genres can be singled out.
Lovers of calm simulators will like Locomoto, Train Sim World 6, SubwaySim 2 and JR EAST Train Simulator.
Folks of economic strategies should pay attention to Transport Fever 2, Railway Empire 2, Sweet Transit, Rail Route and RAILGRADE, where you need to build large-scale transport networks, optimize logistics and develop railways.
Those who prefer more unusual projects may like the minimalist puzzle Mini Metro, cozy Station to Station, cooperative Unrailed 2: Back on Track or the horror Choo-Choo Charles, in which the main antagonist.

As part of the festival, Valve also opened up access to free demo versions of a number of upcoming projects, thanks to which players can get an early look at the new railway simulators and transport strategies that are just getting ready for release.
