Sony has updated the catalog of PlayStation Plus: new games already next week

Sony has unveiled an updated list of games that will be available to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers next week. Big hits and projects of various genres return to the catalog, diversifying the game library of PS4 and PS5 owners.

PlayStation Plus news in July

Starting July 21, users of the Extra and Premium subscription levels will get access to seven new titles. Among them, it is worth noting the AAA projects:

  • Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora (PS5);
  • Rise of the Ronin (PS5);
  • Firefighting Simulator: Ignite (PS5);
  • Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind (PS4, PS5);
  • Dying Light (PS4);
  • Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector (PS5);
  • Snow Bros. Wonderland (PS5).

Exclusive content for Premium subscribers

Sony has prepared a special bonus for those who chose the highest level of subscription – Premium. The library of classics will be supplemented by two iconic projects of the early 2000s: the futuristic detective Fahrenheit (also known as Indigo Prophecy) and the psychedelic actioner Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy.

Games that will leave the library

As happens every month, some projects leave the service on July 21. If you were planning to check out these games, you should do so before the specified date:

  • Risk of Rain 2 (PS4, PS5);
  • Tropico 6 (PS4, PS5);
  • Clash: Artifacts of Chaos (PS4, PS5);
  • Röki (PS4, PS5);
  • Source of Madness (PS4, PS5);
  • Cursed to Golf (PS4, PS5);
  • Hundred Days: Winemaking Simulator (PS4, PS5);
  • Onee Chanbara Origin (PS4);
  • Get Even (PS4);
  • Bomber Crew (PS4);
  • Space Crew: Legendary Edition (PS4);
  • Infinite Minigolf (PS4).

Is it worth playing new games?

The July selection has an extremely attractive appearance. The presence of Rise of the Ronin and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora gives players access to massive action adventures of the highest class. It’s also a great chance to join the time-tested classic of the zombie genre – the original Dying Light game.
