Realme 16T is designed for those who are tired of charging their smartphone every day

The main problem of modern gadgets remains the working time, but the new Realme 16T is ready to fix it. This smartphone is aimed at users who are tired of constantly carrying a charger with them. The novelty combines record autonomy and ergonomic design, standing out against the background of the usual heavy smartphones with large batteries.

Realme 16T is the company’s next step in creating a line of durable devices. If previously huge batteries were the prerogative of bulky protected models, then 16T looks like a classic modern device. Official teasers confirm that the smartphone is aimed at the average user who is important to work without recharging for up to three days in mixed mode.

Technical specifications

The device received a large flat screen with a diagonal of 6.8 inches. This is a significant increase compared to the previous generation. The use of a flat panel will please lovers of gluing protective glass, since the absence of curved edges simplifies the operation of the device. The case is made using metal elements on the frame and in the area of the camera block, which gives the structure the necessary rigidity.

The technical pride of the model is the 8000 mAh battery. Despite this capacity, the thickness of the smartphone is only 8.8 mm. In terms of gaming performance, the device shows excellent results: Realme claims to be able to play Battlegrounds Mobile India for 11 hours at a stable 60 fps.

Realme 16T uses 45W fast charging technology to recharge. It is important to understand that with such a battery capacity, a full charge cycle will take longer than for smartphones with a standard 5000 mAh. However, this power limit is probably chosen to preserve the longevity of the lithium-ion cells and prevent their degradation under the influence of high temperatures.

Release date and price

The official presentation of the smartphone in India and on the global market is scheduled for May 22. That’s when the manufacturer will reveal the full specifications of the chipset and other details of the hardware platform. The novelty is expected to become a sales hit immediately after the launch, given the hype surrounding its energy efficiency.

At the moment, the exact retail price of the Realme 16T has not been announced. The device is expected to be positioned in the mid-range price segment, offering the best battery capacity-to-price ratio.
