OnePlus N6x: record-breaking battery, but not the fastest charging
01.08.26
OnePlus has expanded its range of affordable smartphones by introducing the N6x model. The novelty bets on a long battery life thanks to a battery with a capacity of 7000 mAh, although for this the manufacturer had to make a number of compromises in the characteristics.
Autonomy and features of charging
The main advantage of the smartphone is a battery with a capacity of 7000 mAh, which is significantly more than the standard 5000 mAh of competitors. However, due to the 15W limitation, the charging process turns into a long wait. Users should take into account that it takes several hours to completely restore the charge.
Special attention was paid to the Bypass Charging function: this battery bypass technology protects the battery from excessive heating and wear during games or watching videos. Before this solution was most often found in flagship gaming devices.
Technical characteristics
The smartphone is equipped with a 6.8-inch IPS display with HD+ resolution. Despite the budget clarity of the image, the presence of a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a brightness of 900 nits makes interaction with the device quite comfortable in various scenarios. As a hardware base, MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex is used, supplemented with 4 GB of RAM and Android 16 system with OxygenOS 16 shell.
Equipment, cooling and security
The manufacturer took care of the stable operation of the device by installing a large evaporation chamber with an area of 5300 mm. Other parameters correspond to the budget class:
- Main camera: 13 MP
- Front camera: 5 MP
- Housing protection: IP64
- Additionally: fingerprint scanner, 3.5 mm headphone jack
- Dimensions: 166 x 78 x 9 mm
- Weight: 214 grams
Price

OnePlus N6x went on sale in two memory configurations.
| Configuration | Price (USD) | Price (EUR) |
| 4/64GB | $200 | €190 (8200 UAH) |
| 4/128GB | $220 | €209 (9000 UAH) |
OnePlus N6x is aimed at users who value maximum autonomy more than high performance or fast charging. If a smartphone is needed for everyday tasks and rare recharging, the new product looks like an interesting option in the budget segment. However, when choosing, you should remember slow charging and a modest amount of RAM.
