NVIDIA RTX 50 SUPER video cards appeared in the Seasonic database
10.07.26
Power supply manufacturer Seasonic once again accidentally revealed NVIDIA’s plans by adding new models of RTX 50 SUPER video cards to its branded online power calculator. Insider information about future releases is reflected in the current catalog of components.
Seasonic Database

Added information on three expected models: RTX 5080 SUPER, RTX 5070 Ti SUPER and RTX 5070 SUPER to the power supply list. Data on the RTX 5070 series appeared in the database last year, while the 5080 SUPER was added to the current version of the configurator quite recently. This confirms the seriousness of the manufacturer’s plans for the release of this card.
Technical characteristics and power consumption

The published figures confirm all previous predictions about the TDP indicators of new products. The main emphasis is placed on increased nutritional requirements:
- RTX 5080 SUPER: TDP is 415W (15% higher than the standard 5080 version, which consumes 360W).
- RTX 5070 Ti SUPER: 350 W.
- RTX 5070 SUPER: 275 watts.
Innovation: GDDR7 and performance potential
It is expected that the main feature of the updated line will be the transition to the new GDDR7 video memory. The estimated amounts of VRAM are impressive:
- RTX 5080 SUPER and 5070 Ti SUPER: up to 24 GB.
- RTX 5070 SUPER: up to 18 GB.
An analysis of the potential capabilities of the RTX 5080 SUPER indicates the use of different chips (GB203 450 and 400). According to preliminary data, the memory bandwidth will increase to 1024 GB/s (against 960 GB/s in predecessors), which is an increase of about 6.6%. In this, the operating speed of the GDDR7 modules themselves will reach 32 Gbit/s.
Release date
Despite the appearance in the database, there is still no official data on the release date or confirmed prices for the RTX 50 SUPER series cards. The information from Seasonic only indirectly confirms the very fact that the NVIDIA lineup is being prepared for the market announcement. It remains to monitor the updates of the manufacturer of the configurator in order to notice the change in the status of these video cards in time.
