Moto G Stylus 2026: Rugged smartphone for work, creativity, and extreme conditions
10.04.26
Alongside the budget Moto Pad (2026) tablet, Motorola unveiled the Moto G Stylus (2026) — a device combining military-grade durability, an active stylus, and powerful functionality for both work and creative tasks.
A full-featured productivity tool with an active pen

The device features an updated stylus capable of detecting pressure and tilt, effectively turning the smartphone into a mini graphics tablet. Integrated with Moto AI, input lag is minimal, while the Smart Memo function instantly converts handwritten notes into charts, tables, and diagrams. The stylus offers up to 100 hours of standby time and nearly four hours of active use, charging fully in just 15 minutes.
Durable body and military-level protection
The chassis is made from high-strength polymer with a premium vegan leather finish. The smartphone comes in two colors: PANTONE Coal Smoke and PANTONE Lavender Mist. IP69 certification ensures full dust and water resistance, including high-pressure hot water streams, while the MIL-STD-810H military standard guarantees resilience to drops, shocks, and extreme temperatures.
Bright display and high performance

The Moto G Stylus (2026) features a 6.7-inch Extreme AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 5000 nits for excellent visibility even in direct sunlight. Performance is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset paired with 8 GB LPDDR5X RAM and an Adreno 710 GPU. A 5200 mAh battery supports 68 W wired and 15 W wireless charging.
Cameras and video
The main 50 MP Ultra Pixel camera with a Sony LYTIA 700C sensor and optical stabilization delivers sharp and bright photos even in low light. It also includes a 13 MP ultra-wide lens and a macro camera, while the 32 MP front camera automatically switches to group mode. All cameras support 4K video recording with enhanced stabilization.
Release date and bonuses
The Moto G Stylus (2026) will be available starting April 16 at a price of $499. Buyers of the 256 GB version will receive a complimentary Moto Watch and Moto Tag set.
