Kojima Productions has partnered with Japanese audio equipment manufacturer km5 to unveil a device destined to become a collector’s item: the Instant Disc Audio Cp1 portable CD player, styled after Death Stranding 2. This is a reimagined version of the base km5 CP1 model, specifically crafted for fans of the iconic game series.

Design Features

The player features a vibrant translucent orange chassis, allowing users to watch the CD spin during playback. The cover includes a dedicated slot for displaying album art; the device comes with two unique prints based on the Death Stranding 2 universe. The back panel includes mounting holes for wall installation, turning the player into both a functional gadget and a piece of decor.
