HP Z1 Tower G1i: compact power based on Intel Core Ultra 5

HP Z1 Tower G1i is a new professional solution designed for users who need power above the level of an office system unit, but are not ready to buy full-size server equipment. The novelty offers an optimal balance of Intel architecture performance and a compact, protected case.

Productivity

The system is based on a 14-core Intel Core Ultra 5 235 processor. Its key features are a hybrid architecture and a built-in NPU, which ensures efficient distribution of resources between work processes and support for AI algorithms. The standard configuration includes 16 GB of DDR5 RAM and a 512 GB SSD.

The Z series is known for its maintainability: if necessary, users can easily increase the amount of RAM or expand the disk space. The computer comes with FreeDOS, which is a plus for corporate customers who have their own OS license.

Compact body and military standard protection

The model is made in the Tower form factor, but retains modest dimensions: 337 x 308 x 155 mm with a weight of only 5.5 kg. An important advantage is compliance with the strict MIL-STD-810H military durability standards. The station is protected from vibrations, extreme temperatures and external influences, which makes it suitable for difficult operating conditions.

Modern interfaces are located on the front panel of the HP Z1 Tower G1i case:

  • 4 USB-A ports (transfer speed up to 10 Gbit/s);
  • 2 USB-C ports (transfer speed up to 20 Gbit/s).

Cost

At the moment, the cost of the configuration is 7,729 yuan, which is equivalent to $1,082 (48,700 UAH). The novelty is ideal for budding engineers and content creators.

It’s a worthy purchase if you want certified stability and reliability of HP components. In cases where the budget is very limited and there are no requirements for professional certification, the Bosgame E6 ECO compact mini PC can be an alternative.
