Honor will release gaming smartphones

Honor Win

Honor has announced a new line of Honor Win smartphones, which is focused on mobile gaming. The series replaces the GT family of devices and, according to the manufacturer, should mark a new stage in the development of the brand’s gaming smartphones.

The launch of Honor Win is accompanied by the slogan “Exceptional power, born to win”, which directly indicates the gaming focus of the devices. According to preliminary information, the line will include two models – Honor Win and Honor Win Pro. Both smartphones will receive 6.83-inch OLED screens with a resolution of 1.5K, triple cameras with a 50 MP main sensor and support for 100 W fast charging.

Special emphasis is placed on autonomy. The basic version of Honor Win is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 8500 mAh, while Win Pro will receive a battery of up to 10,000 mAh. The older model also features an active cooling system located next to the camera module, which should ensure stable performance during long gaming sessions.

Qualcomm’s flagship platforms are responsible for the speed: Honor Win is built on the Snapdragon 8 Elite, and Honor Win Pro is built on the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.

The prices for Honor Win and Honor Win Pro have not yet been disclosed. It is only known that sales in China will start by the end of December, while the timing of the smartphones’ release on the global market remains uncertain.
