GTA 6 premier: leaks about release date and required space
22.03.24
One of the main questions that interests gamers is when will Grand Theft Auto 6 be released? The developers from Rockstar do not even give hints, limiting themselves to the abstract “2025”. Although this is partially reflected in the future business plans of the publisher, Take Two.
Speculation on this topic does not stop. An insider under the nickname JarlOfRivia, familiar with the plans of Rockstar and Take-Two, said that the development of GTA 6 is in its final stages, game designers are already polishing the project and the game is already undergoing final testing.
According to the source, the premiere of GTA VI is scheduled for the first quarter of 2025, most likely in January or February. However, based on the experience of previous releases, it is more logical to release a game of this scale in October or November. Most major blockbusters come out in the fall.
There were also rumors online that the second GTA 6 trailer would be released in April 2024.
A quarter of a terabyte on an SSD?
Another rumor is related to the storage space taken up for GTA six game files. Undoubtedly, installing GTA 6 will require a lot of free space on SSD drives, but the information that has appeared on the Internet is discouraging. According to it, 230 GB will be needed.
There are still a lot of questions here. It is unknown whether this figure refers to the unfinished version of the game, which apparently has not yet been optimized and compressed, or whether it refers to the release version of GTA VI.
