Corsair Warthog: The legendary Vengeance C70 is back in a new form

At the Computex 2026 international exhibition, the well-known Corsair brand officially presented the Corsair Warthog – the ideological and technological successor to the legendary Vengeance C70 computer case. The original model, released back in 2012, gained cult status thanks to its unusual military design and phenomenal durability. Years later, the company decided to rethink the proven classic for the current needs of modern gamers and enthusiasts.

The new Corsair Warthog computer case is designed as a deep rethinking of the classic Vengeance C70. The visual concept of the novelty, as before, refers to strong metal boxes for cartridges and shells, and the name is borrowed from the famous single-seater military aircraft of the US Army A-10 Warthog, created in the 1970s.

The manufacturer provided the device with a stronger steel structure, expanded the possibilities for deep customization of gaming configurations and made a serious emphasis on flawless air circulation in the internal space.

Technical characteristics and design features

The brutal style of the original C70 is fully preserved in the design of the Corsair Warthog: a reliable steel base, strong built-in handles on top for transporting the PC and convenient access through quick-release side panels. Nevertheless, the corps acquired a number of modern technical solutions:

  • Perforated front panel to optimize fresh air intake;
  • Universal mounting system for InfiniRail coolers, which facilitates the installation of fans and coolants;
  • Advanced RapidRoute 2.0 niche slot for perfect motherboard cable routing;
  • Complete support bracket to prevent sagging of heavy flagship graphics cards;
  • Full hardware support for the latest motherboards with hidden rear power connection.

The physical dimensions of the chassis are 534 mm long, 284 mm wide and 546 mm high. Such significant dimensions allow free layout of top hardware, including long video accelerators and custom water cooling circuits.

Corsair Warthog vs Warthog RS

The developers have prepared two versions of this case:

  • Corsair Warthog (standard version): comes without built-in active cooling. A great option for enthusiasts who want to install their own fans or complete custom water.
  • Corsair Warthog RS: comes with full cooling kit. The modification includes two brand new RS200 supply fans on the front panel and one RS120 exhaust fan on the back wall. The new fans of the RS line connect directly to the ports of the motherboard.

Release date and price

Official information about the price of the Corsair Warthog, as well as the exact date of the start of its global retail sales, has not yet been announced by the company. At the moment, the manufacturer has limited himself to showing how the luxurious case looks in classic matte black (Black) and tactical dark green (Dark Green)
