01.07.26
Ubisoft is preparing to release Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced – a full-fledged remake of the cult part of the 2013 series. The project is not only adapted to modern standards, but also optimized to demonstrate the capabilities of the most powerful console on the market – PlayStation 5 Pro.
PS5 Pro graphics and technology features
The developers have focused on graphical improvements and the use of innovative image processing algorithms, which makes it possible to reimagine the adventures of Edward Kenway in a completely different visual quality.
The PlayStation 5 Pro version features an expanded set of technical features aimed at enhancing photorealism:
- Global Illumination to create a natural light pattern.
- Realistic reflections on surfaces, including water and object materials.
- Highly detailed shadows.
- PSSR 2 upscaler, which provides stable frame rates up to 100 FPS and more.
- Supports resolutions up to 8K.
Features for PlayStation family consoles
In addition to the exclusive power of the PS5 Pro, the game supports functionality available to users of the base version of the PlayStation 5. Gamers will be able to feel the tactile feedback of the DualSense controller, appreciate the spatial sound of 3D Audio and the benefits of fast SSD memory for almost instant loading of the game world.
Release date and platforms
Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced will be released on July 9th. The project will be available for the following platforms:
- PC
- PlayStation 5
- Xbox Series
If you’re hungry for pirate romance and want to see the Caribbean islands in incredible detail, Resynced is a great reason to return to the game. Considering the stated technical achievements and the scale of work done to update the graphics engine, the remake can seriously compete with many modern AAA projects in terms of immersion.
