Review of Angry Birds Transformers – AutoBirds and DeceptoPigs
02.11.14
The plot of the new part is not as familiar as before. And the format of the game has changed dramatically. We were already given the opportunity to play as pigs, although they were bad guys, but this is the first time the authors have decided to radically reformat the good old Angry birds into a game like a runner.
According to the plot, a Spark falls on Svinsky Island, which turns birds into autobirds, and pigs into deseptispigs. Everything would have been fine, they would have continued to fight among themselves, but then it turned out that the eggs went crazy. Led by EggSpark, they begin to destroy everything left and right, including pig houses and bird trees. Of course, the birds and pigs united to save the island, and friendship won.
Red, who is now Optimus Prime, is the only one who was not frozen by the egg droids, so he begins to liberate his feathered comrades and the guys from the grunt camp at the same time.

All races are located on the map. As you pass each one, you knock down pigs and buildings, accumulating frags and coins.
Use frags to free new characters, and use coins to upgrade them and open up new locations.

All sorts of achievements are given, for example, for destroying 500 objects while playing as one of the Decepticpigs. But now there are no stars for completing levels completely.

The controls are simple:
- The button at the bottom left calls a second character to help, he runs next to you for a while.
- The Button at the bottom right turns you into a vehicle to speed up and slip between the falling totems.
- Near the latter there may also be an energy shield button or an activationelectric discharge button for the pig drones chasing you.
In addition, in the race results window, you can watch the suggested video and receive a double reward. Convenient, especially if you have collected a lot of coins and frags. We recommend using these doubles only on high-scoring races as the number of videos per day is limited.

In general, get used to the fact that this is the first Angry Birds, where eggs are the antagonists, and birds and pigs are positive characters throughout the game. Frankly speaking, this part of Angry Birds as a whole is not as heartwarming as the previous parts. “Easter eggs,” pardon the pun, in the form of funny phrases from Angry Birds Star Wars, are not here, nor are there any funny voice acting that we loved from the first parts. The motif of the main soundtrack is taken more from the original Transformers than from the marimba motifs. The cool thing is that there are completely redesigned video inserts in the style of the first comics and TV series based on them, so fans of Hollywood special effects don’t expect much. Vivid transformation of heroes? Yes, it is, because this part is about transformation.
