One UI 9 Beta Spotted for Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A56
01.09.26
Samsung is actively working on adapting the One UI 9 skin based on Android 17 for a range of its smartphones. Although the beta testing program is currently officially available only for the flagship Galaxy S26 series, fresh data from test servers in Korea points to an imminent expansion of the device list.
One UI 9 Beta Expected for Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A56
According to information from the test servers, Samsung is preparing beta versions of the software for popular mid-range smartphones. A build with firmware A356NKSUAZZH5 has been spotted for the Galaxy A35, and firmware A566SKSU9ZZHH for the Galaxy A56 model. Furthermore, a dedicated forum section for testing One UI 9 on the Galaxy A56 has already been created on the Samsung Community platform in India.
One UI 9 Rollout Status
To date, a stable version of One UI 9 is already available for the following models that launched with the new-generation software pre-installed:
- Galaxy Z Fold8
- Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra
- Galaxy Z Flip8
- Galaxy S26 FE
The Galaxy S26 smartphone series (including the S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra models) has now received seven updates as part of the beta program. The final version release for these flagships is expected in the coming weeks, after which the company may open access to beta testing for the Galaxy S25 series and other supported devices.
What This Means for Galaxy A35 and A56 Owners
Participating in the beta program before the official stable release allows users to be among the first to experience the new features of Android 17 and One UI 9. If Samsung officially announces the program’s expansion, owners of the A35 and A56 will gain access to the pre-release firmware ahead of the full global rollout.
