Apple Music gets Dolby Atmos support on LG smart TVs
07.05.24
The update to the Apple Music app for LG TVs marks a significant step in the world of entertainment, giving users the ability to enjoy Dolby Atmos audio.
While details about compatible models have not been revealed, it is already known that owners of LG GX OLED TVs released in 2020 can enjoy this update. Thus, it is likely that in the future, most modern LG TV models will also be able to support Dolby Atmos.
While LG TV owners are getting new features, Samsung device owners are being left out. There are currently no announcements regarding the company’s plans to add Dolby Atmos support for Apple Music on its devices.
