Acer HD1500: compact home theater with autofocus and Smart TV

The market range of home theaters has been replenished with a new remarkable solution from the Acer company. The brand officially introduced the compact and very budget smart projector Acer HD1500, designed to destroy the myth of the high cost of quality portable equipment. In the markets of some countries, the new product can also be offered to the audience under the AOpen sub-brand with the commercial index of the QP30t model.
The new compact device was created to solve the main difficulties of budget design: its mobile design completely relieves the user of the tedious process of installation, searching for wall shelves or placing thick books under the case for correct optics guidance. Any available free space – from ordinary smooth wallpaper to a complex slanted ceiling in the room – can be instantly turned into a large and high-quality projection display thanks to intelligent capabilities.
Design features and built-in stand
Acer engineers equipped the projector with an original rotating base stand. This fastener is fully integrated into its design and allows you to quickly and without unnecessary mechanical efforts:
- Perform circular horizontal rotation of the gadget body around the axis by 360 degrees.
- Smoothly tilt the working part of the case in the vertical plane to a maximum angle of up to 180 degrees.
This enables quick viewing of interesting broadcasts, videos or full sessions of your favorite movies on the ceiling, if the user prefers to watch movies while lying down.
Technical characteristics of the new product and possibilities of real operation
In terms of its technical components, the portable system offers quite honest iron indicators, which are far ahead of cheap artisanal analogues from Chinese catalogs:

Such a modest focal interval ideally optimizes the operation of the new model in the compressed living space of typical bedrooms or small country houses. Separate intelligent on-the-fly focus assist software provides instant, crystal-clear broadcasts on the fly.
Smart features
The portable model carries on board an operating Smart TV shell, the launch of which makes the device independent. Directly through the menu, the integration of global digital media services for viewing videos at the level of Netflix or popular video hosting YouTube is easily available to the user. It is not necessary to purchase an external stick or a smart set-top box for the full functionality of the TV.
In addition, the back end of the portable device has modern communication interfaces for operational coordination with external speakers or modern entertainment media consoles:
- One classic video input of the HDMI standard for broadcasting from third-party TV set-top boxes, laptops or connecting gaming devices.
- Full-format classic service USB class “A” input for reading heavy media files from external drives (flash memory).
- Modern high-speed wireless coordination module with a Bluetooth 5.4 signal source for playing a sound series from external speakers or headphones.
The integrated sound subsystem in the form of a stereo park of sound emitters with a power of 5 watts (the total total acoustic output of the sound module of the projector is equal to 10 W) will allow you to listen to the voiceover of your favorite films in a comfortable sleeping area without looking for additional stationary audio systems.
World debut date and price
The start of official regional European sales of the technological product in the EMEA zone is announced directly during July-September of the third quarter of 2026. Initially, the price tag of the compact smart projector Acer HD1500 will be an attractive €149 (or $161 / UAH 6600), keeping it in an affordable price category
