Young Salieri returns: Mafia: The Old Country will get story DLC

Studios 2K Games and Hangar 13 have officially presented the story addition Man of Honor for the criminal action game Mafia: The Old Country. The new DLC doesn’t just add content, it expands key elements of the lore and connects the events of the main game with the early stages of the criminal history of the series.

Young Salieri before becoming a legend

In the center of the addition is Ennio Salieri – the future Don Salieri, known to fans from the first part of Mafia. Here he is shown long before acquiring the status of a crime boss, at the moment when he is just forming his role in the criminal hierarchy.

The action unfolds in 1905 and is organically woven into the main campaign of The Old Country. After getting out of prison, Salieri again gets involved in criminal cases, gradually regaining influence and building new connections that will determine his position in the mafia structure in the future.

In parallel, the story of Enzo Favaro is developing, who is on his way to Salieri on the instructions of Don Torrizi. Their interaction becomes part of a wider system of arrangements between families, where old commitments re-trigger a chain of conflicts and decisions with long-term consequences.

New missions

Man of Honor adds several story missions to the game, which not only continue the story, but also deepen the understanding of the criminal world of the early 20th century.

Players can expect an expanded set of content:

• new era vehicles;
• additional weapons and equipment;
• amulets and game boosts;
• previously inaccessible locations of Sicily.

Emphasis is placed on atmosphere, historical stylization and cinematic presentation – key elements that form the identity of the Mafia series.

Release and platforms

The Man of Honor app will be released on August 14. The cost of the DLC will be $10.

The content will be available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, expanding the storyline of Mafia: The Old Country and adding a new layer to the story of the development of one of the key characters of the entire franchise.
