Xiaomi Book 14 laptop with Intel Core Ultra 300 weighs less than kilogram
11.03.26
Xiaomi is preparing to release a new compact laptop Xiaomi Book 14. One of the key features of the model will be the use of a new generation of Intel processors.
New Intel Panther Lake processors
The main technical feature of the Xiaomi Book 14 laptop is the Intel Core Ultra 300 series chips, known under the code name Panther Lake. In the older configuration, the Xiaomi Book 14 will receive a Core Ultra X7 358H processor with integrated Arc B390 graphics.
The graphics core is built on the Battlemage architecture. According to preliminary data, it should provide a noticeable increase in performance compared to previous generations of integrated Intel graphics. If expectations are confirmed, such an ultrabook will be able to run modern games at medium settings – which was previously a rarity for thin and light models without a discrete graphics card.
A more affordable version of the laptop with a Core Ultra 5 325 processor is also expected. This option will be designed for basic usage scenarios: working in a browser, office applications and multimedia. At the same time, the cost of such a configuration should be noticeably lower than the older model.
Memory configurations and a lightweight case
According to preliminary information, the Xiaomi Book 14 will be equipped with up to 32 GB of RAM and an SSD drive with a capacity of up to 1 TB. This set of characteristics allows you to count on comfortable work with several programs and large files.
Another feature will be the weight of the device – less than 1 kg. For a laptop with similar characteristics, this is an extremely small figure, which puts the model in the segment of ultralight devices.
The name of the model indicates a 14-inch display, which is considered one of the most versatile formats for mobile work. Combined with a thin body and the new Intel platform, this makes the Xiaomi Book 14 a potential competitor for other lightweight laptops in its class.
