Samsung has officially expanded its M-series lineup with the debut of the Galaxy M17e 5G in India. This new budget-friendly device is essentially a rebranded version of the Galaxy A07 5G, which was introduced to the market early last month.

Samsung Galaxy M17e 5G Specifications

The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, ensuring reliable performance for everyday tasks. It can be configured with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, with the added flexibility of a microSD card slot for further expansion.

The device features a 6.7-inch LCD display that provides an HD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The screen includes a waterdrop notch for the 8MP selfie camera and is housed in an 8.2mm thick body with an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance.

For photography, the Galaxy M17e 5G is equipped with a dual rear camera system. This setup consists of a 50MP primary sensor paired with a 2MP depth sensor to enhance portrait photography.

One of the standout features is the massive 6,000mAh battery, which supports 25W wired fast charging. The phone runs on One UI 8.0 based on Android 16 and comes with a commitment for 6 years of both OS and security updates.

Additional specifications include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual-SIM support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Connectivity is rounded out with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.

The Samsung Galaxy M17e 5G is available in Blitz Blue and Vibe Violet colors. Pricing starts at INR 12,999 ($140) for the 4GB/128GB model, while the 6GB/128GB variant is priced at INR 14,499 ($160).
