LG QNED evo: Mini-LED with 330 Hz gaming mode and AI-powered image enhancement

LG Electronics has unveiled its new QNED evo Mini LED 2026 lineup, led by a large flagship model with an upgraded refresh rate. All TVs support VRR up to 165 Hz and AMD FreeSync Premium, while select models feature Motion Booster 330 Hz, designed to reduce blur in fast-paced gaming scenes.

AI for picture and sound

The new TVs are powered by the α8 AI Gen 3 processor, which leverages artificial intelligence to enhance both image and audio. Brightness, contrast, and detail are improved, while local dimming ensures deeper blacks and sharper highlights.

Dynamic QNED Color Pro delivers accurate color reproduction, particularly in HDR content, with Intertek certification guaranteeing color stability even on very large screens. Precision Dimming Ultra manages thousands of dimming zones to achieve realistic contrast.

AI-powered content enhancement

AI Super Upscaling improves the clarity of lower-resolution content on 4K screens. AI Picture Pro emphasizes faces and key objects, while Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro automatically adjusts brightness and contrast across frames. AI Sound Pro creates a virtual 11.1.2-channel soundstage using the TV’s built-in speakers.

WebOS 26: sports and convenience

WebOS 26 focuses on improving the viewing experience for sports. Sports Portal aggregates match schedules and scores in one place, Sports Alert notifies fans of their favorite teams, and AI Concierge displays game progress and predictions directly on-screen.

Gaming features and connectivity

The TVs support ALLM for low input lag, while Motion Booster 330 Hz ensures smooth visuals during fast-paced games. LG Gaming Portal provides access to cloud gaming and online game services.

Personalization features include Voice ID for user profiles and AI Concierge for content recommendations. Integration with Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot enables voice search and commands, while LG Shield ensures data security with built-in encryption.

Range and availability

The lineup includes:

  • QNED90 – flagship model
  • QNED85 – 100 inches
  • QNED82, QNED8M, QNED80, and QNED70 – smaller screen sizes

Initial shipments will arrive in South Korea, the US, and Europe, with other regions following later this year. Pricing will be announced soon.
