The new devices went on sale in China alongside the company’s updated tablets and laptops. The devices offer an evolutionary step from the GT 6 series, retaining the familiar design while upgrading the internal hardware.
Size and Display: Watch GT 7 Versions
The Watch GT 7 series offers a variety of case options:
- Watch GT 7 (41 mm) features a 1.32-inch round AMOLED display.
- Watch GT 7 (46 mm) comes with an enlarged 1.47-inch AMOLED panel.
- Watch GT 7 Pro is available in a single size and also features a 1.47-inch display.
A shared trait across all three versions is the high peak brightness of the displays, reaching 3,000 nits, which ensures excellent readability even in direct sunlight.
Design and Materials
Material selection depends on the specific model’s positioning:
- The base Watch GT 7 model features a stainless steel case with a fiber-reinforced composite back cover.
- The Watch GT 7 Pro model targets the premium segment: the case is crafted from a titanium alloy, with a nanocrystalline ceramic back panel.
Health Monitoring and Sports Features
Both models are equipped with a standard set of sensors, including an optical heart rate sensor and a skin temperature sensor. The Watch GT 7 Pro adds ECG tracking capabilities. Huawei has also optimized the software, adding new workout modes and improving tools for overall health monitoring.

The manufacturer claims impressive battery performance:
- The compact 41 mm Watch GT 7 can last up to 14 days with light usage.
