Rumors about expanding the geography of sales of future Xiaomi flagships have finally begun to take shape. According to the latest leaks, the Xiaomi 18 Pro smartphone, unlike its predecessors, will receive a full international launch.
What is known about the global availability of Xiaomi 18 Pro
Past models such as the Xiaomi 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max remained exclusive to the Chinese market. The company’s strategy may change this year. It is expected that Xiaomi 18 Pro will officially go on sale in Europe (and therefore Ukraine), Turkey, Russia, Taiwan and Japan. At the same time, the situation with the Indian market remains ambiguous: conflicting reports do not fully confirm the presence of the device in this region, as well as plans to release the older version of Max.
Technical characteristics and hardware
The new product promises to be a serious upgrade compared to the previous generation. The smartphone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro SoC. The developers paid special attention to the camera: the device will be equipped with two 200 MP SmartSens sensors with a sensor size of 1/1.28 inches. The autonomy of the device will be provided by a battery with a capacity of at least 7000 mAh with support for 100 W high-speed charging, including wireless technology.
Hardware features
In addition to processing power and advanced camera sensors, the 18 Pro will receive an improved audio system and a new vibration motor with increased power. This underlines the premium positioning of the device in the global market.
