Xbox is now available on Hisense TVs without a game console

Microsoft has officially announced a major update to its gaming ecosystem: the branded Xbox app is now available on Hisense TVs running the VIDAA OS operating system. Now, TV owners no longer need to purchase a separate game console for a full gaming experience — an active Game Pass subscription is all that is required.
Which TV models support Xbox
The update affects Hisense TVs and a number of other models (including Toshiba and certain European brands) that use the VIDAA OS platform. An important limitation is the device release period: support is implemented for TVs manufactured between 2024 and 2026. The company is gradually expanding coverage, planning a global release in all supported regions.
Requirements for launching games
Since this is cloud gaming, players do not need to download games — the entire process takes place via streaming. This requires the following conditions to be met:
- A stable internet connection.
- An active Xbox Game Pass subscription (any plan except the PC-only version will work).
- A compatible Bluetooth controller (an official Xbox gamepad is recommended).
