The Ugreen Nexode Pro 160W powerful charger has been released in Europe

Ugreen is expanding its presence in the European market by introducing the powerful Nexode Pro 160W USB-C charger.

One adapter for all gadgets

This model is a high-performance network adapter designed to power several devices at once. The gadget received a significant set of connectors: four USB-C ports and one USB-A. The device is able to satisfy the needs of owners of powerful laptops that need fast charging thanks to the support of the Power Delivery 3.1 (PD 3.1) protocol.

The key feature of the device is a smart 160 W power distribution system. When two or three devices are connected, one of the USB-C ports can output up to 100 W, and when all five connectors are busy – 65 W each. In addition to charging, the gadget is equipped with a built-in color smart display, which displays power, temperature and funny custom emojis in real time.

Features of design and operation

The appearance of the device is made in the style of the current Pro line, but users note that the charger has relatively large dimensions.

Price and positioning

Ugreen positions the new product as a more affordable analogue of the popular Anker Prime 160W device. While Anker’s solution costs around €/£130, the official price of the Nexode Pro 160W is €/£90 (around UAH 4,065 ($98) at the time of publication).  As part of the Prime Day promotions, the price was reduced to £56.99 (approx. UAH 3,030 ($73)) and €65.99 (approx. UAH 3,030 ($73)).

The model is an excellent choice for those who need to charge many appliances at the same time, using only one socket.  Due to the flexible operation of PD 3.1, the presence of an informative screen and an attractive price compared to competitors, the device looks like a very competitive option in the European market of charging accessories.
