The company’s latest smartphone: Meizu 21 Pro was released with a 120 Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 5050 mAh battery

Meizu held an event in China where it showed its new top-end smartphone Meizu 21 Pro. According to public statements by the company’s owners, this will be the brand’s last smartphone. Unless loud statements about the transition to new products, related to AI of course, this is a marketing ploy to create noise. Still, the company’s business is not going well and there is nothing else to maintain attention.

The Meizu 21 Pro smartphone has a design inspired by the base model Meizu 21. It features an IP68-rated metal body and a 6.79-inch BOE LTPO OLED panel display. The display supports an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz, 2K resolution and 1250 nits peak brightness.

Meizu 21 Pro runs on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor with up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage. The device comes with Flyme OS shell and AI features.

The device is equipped with stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and an RGB ring.

The smartphone has a triple main camera with a 50 MP main sensor, a 13 MP wide-angle lens and a 10 MP telephoto lens. The camera supports OIS/EIS and can record video up to 8K.

Meizu 21 Pro is powered by a 5050 mAh battery and supports 80W fast wired charging, 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse charging.

The smartphone is available in Starry Night Black, White Laurel Green and Glacier Blue colors, as well as in three memory modifications:

  • Meizu 21 Pro, 12+256 GB – $695
  • Meizu 21 Pro, 16+512 GB – $750
  • Meizu 21 Pro, 16 GB+1 TB – $820
